Sam Cook
Sam is the founder of the Chief group of companies. Since its inception in 2007 Sam has overseen each company’s growth with a “hands on” approach. He then implemented a team of construction managers, innovative engineers & project managers who are well versed in civil construction processes. Sam has instilled a vision of delivering successful, diversified bespoke earthmoving solutions with sustainable and profitable growth. His core values of honesty and integrity in both his personal and business relationships empower those around him to always achieve more and to do better.

Ben Cook
Ben has over 20 years experience within the Construction Industry and has filled a number of roles on Major Projects such as General Superintendent and Construction Delivery Manager. Ben has a unique ability in bringing teams together and uniting them under a common goal. He has done this on countless projects such as Ballarat Line Upgrade, Moordialloc ByPass and currently on the Echuca-Moama Bridge Project. Ben’s passion, however, is within the Government Policy area and improving communities while delivering important infrastructure. He is currently championing several initiatives within Chief Group involving indigenous enterprises, returned service personnel, Women in Construction and Parole Board employment.

Brad Van Florestein
Brad has over 15 years’ experience in major projects such as the City-Tulla Widening, Ballarat Line Upgrade and Regional Rail. He has extensive experience and the drive to deliver small and large projects alike. He is passionate with regards to upskilling both labourers and engineers alike. Brad has proven bulk earthworks and pavements experiences as well as knowledge in sub and super structures construction for bridges.
